How much does a custom print cost?
The pricing of a custom varies on three main factors
1. Time to complete the print – The time required to complete each print is different for each print. Click here to go to our upload file page or contact us directly via our email (3DPCsales@gmail.com).
2. The material used – The standard cost for our most common plastic filament is $5 per hour, and if you require our resin option. Then it is 0.60c per gram + $5 post-processing fee. There are other materials that have different prices, please click here to find out more about our other filaments.
3. Designing the file – The cost to design and create a file varies on the complexity of the design, the more complex the file is to create the more time is required to complete the file. As each project is different from the next please contact us with your idea and we will discuss what it will cost to bring that idea into a reality. (If you already have the file and just need the file printed, then you can disregard this cost and only focus on the time and materials used).
What happens if the print doesn’t come out as designed?
If we have been given the wrong measurements, which results in it not working or there are changes to the design that you would like to make after the first piece has been printed, we can offer a 25% discount on the revision. If any mistake arises on our end, such as the part being misprinted, we will reprint the piece for you free of charge.
How do I know what type of filament to request?
To find out which type of filament best suits your application click here. Generally speaking, the most common and budget-friendly material to use is PETG.
How long does a print take?
The duration of a print is entirely dependent on what you are trying to print, a good rule of thumb is the larger the print the longer it will take to print.
How do I get my print?
We offer both local free pick-up and delivery.
Local Pickup – Please contact us to arrange a time and day for you to come collect the parts.
Delivery – To get your parts delivered within the Canberra region there is a flat $15 charge. If you would like to get the part shipped out of state or internationally, the charge will be the price it costs to send to your given address +$5 for processing fees.
How do I send through my design?
If you are on a computer in the top right corner of the webpage, there is an upload file button and if you are on your phone go to the home page and press, get a quote. Alternatively, you can click here to be directed to the upload file page.
